A New Mat - Flowers of Spring

I rarely sell my mats, I haven't in years. This one is for sale. Check my Etsy shop. I recently hand stitched this, you can see my process on my Instagram account and Facebook page. I used crochet cotton that I have over dyed to suit this mat. Something that I show and talk about in my book Penny Rugs and More: From the Beginning. A design by Cee Rafuse of Old Penny Rugs, this mat is called Flowers of Spring. The wool is over dyed and cut by Cee. As well, the backing fabric is dyed by Cee. The wool and the backing are meant to look old. You will notice a dark dye mark on the back of the mat, near the edge. It is meant to be there. This mat will look beautiful in any country, primitive, modern, eclectic decor. It will suite all styles. Please message me if you have any questions.
